Julie Meichsner is a media consultant with over six years of design experience. She has wide-ranging knowledge of legal noticing and planning in consumer class action, antitrust, securities and bankruptcy cases spanning more than 20 countries and in many different languages.
She has planned and managed media programs for some of the largest securities class actions, including The Countrywide RMBS Settlement, Residential Capital LLC., Stichting Converium Securities and the AMR Corporation bankruptcy, among others.
Additionally, Julie is a plain language specialist, working with the noticing team to ensure that notices are compliant with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 23 and that they are tailored in style and form to class member preferences.
Julie’s training and background includes using the industry’s top research, measurement and evaluation tools to develop plans that combine both traditional and new media. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Julie holds a B.A. in Political Science with further education in German Language Studies at Europa-Kolleg Kassel e.V. in Kassell Germany. She is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society and served on the Executive Team of Onward Oregon from 2008-2013.
